The Monterey Bay Golfing Fellowship of Rotarians (MBGFR) was founded in 1991 by Dick Trotter and other members of the Pacific Grove Rotary Club.
The purpose of the MBGFR is to promote and foster among its members a closer bond for their mutual benefit, and to promote and conserve the best interest and true spirit of the game of golf as
embodied in its ancient and honorable traditions.
The MBGFR is an associate club of the Northern California Golf Association and all members of the MBGFR are members of the Northern California Golf Association.
Membership is available to all Rotarians in good standing as well
as spouses, significant others and children of members. Memberships are individual and non-transferable. Dues include membership in the Northern California Golf Association. Members receive
the quarterly NCGA News, monthly computerized handicap and NCGA tournament eligibility.
The MBGFR conducts monthly tournaments for members and guests at courses throughout central California. In addition we travel each summer to Lake Tahoe for a two day tournament and each
January to Palm Desert for a two day tournament.
Interested Rotarians are welcome as guests in all of our tournaments.
